n order to provide spay\neuter services, SOS works in conjunction with local shelters and humane organizations in the Finger Lakes area by traveling from county to county on a rotating basis.

     Please call your local shelter or humane organization to schedule a dog or cat.

Shelter Schedule

                 Monday:  CNY Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) / CNY Cat Coalition (CC) 

                 Tuesday: Tompkins County SPCA

                 Wednesday: Humane Society of Schuyler County (2nd & 4th), Chemung County SPCA (1st, 3rd, 5th)

                 Thursday: Cortland County SPCA(2nd, 4th, 5th), Paradise Gardens Animal Haven (1st & 3rd)

                 Friday:  Finger Lakes SPCA of Central NY (2nd & 4th), Beverly Animal Shelter (3rd)

                 Saturdays and Sundays scheduled to fill extra clinic requests

     Each county shelter will determine what services are needed for the day (S/N +/-medical consults, etc…). The shelter will schedule eligible animals for S/N services.  Each county is encouraged to work with shelters and residents of neighboring counties.

     Animals are welcome from all Finger Lakes counties and beyond, and to date animals have been served from the following counties: Tompkins, Cortland, Chemung, Schuyler, Yates, Steuben, Cayuga, Seneca, Tioga, Onondaga, Chenango, Broome, Madison, Oswego.
